Creating a Model

Save and share your favorite 3D models in the Builder. Once saved, they can be instantly added to any experience with a quick drag & drop. Keep them private if you are still working on them, or share them with the BlocksmithXR community to give everyone access to your cool creations!

Saving a Model

1. Select everything that you would like to be part of your model.
2. Group your selection.
3. Select Save Model in the Object tab.
4. Give your model an awesome name and a lot of tags!
5. Press Save.
6. Share your model with friends, your school, or the BlocksmithXR workspace.
7. Find your new model under the Models tab in the Builder.

Updating a Model

1. Make sure your updated model is grouped together.
2. Select "Save Model" in the Object tab.
3. Check the box next to "Update an existing model".
4. Select the model you are wanting to update.
5. Rename if needed.
6. Press Save.

Where do I find my model?

You can see your model in the Models tab in the Builder or in your account dashboard on the web.
If you have shared your model with a school workspace or the BlocksmithXR workspace. You can find it under those workspacess in the Models tab as well.
You can change the sharing setting on the web in your account dashboard.
