VR4Ed 2021 Challenge

A Day in the Life of a STEM Professional

The "A day in the life of" VR4Ed Challenge presents your students with the chance to investigate a STEM career path that interests them, and re-create a day of practical work using the BlocksmithXR Builder.

Your students will have the chance to work with a professional team on taking their prototype and working with them to polish it for an App Store release!

We will select a few projects from the final submissions and bundle them together to become an app that will be available on Google Play and the App Store.

Details

• Students must produce a 3D interactive scene that accurately depicts a day in the life of a STEM career professional.

• Students can choose one of three STEM Careers to portray:

1. Registered Nurse
2. Software Developer
3. Industrial Repair Mechanic

• Students can work in small groups; four students max per team.

• Students must produce several scenes that depict key elements from a portion of a day in the life of a career professional.
